Additional materials

Professional Scrum Master I and II. Professional Scrum Master I (Fundamental) and II (Intermediate) certification indicates how well individuals understand the roles, rules, artifacts, and time-boxes that bind together the Scrum framework. The fee for PSM I is $100, and the fee for PSM II is $500; a minimum score of 85% is required for both levels. PSM I and II certification can be achieved solely by taking the Scrum.org online assessments; attending the associated Professional Scrum Master course is neither necessary nor sufficient for certification.

Professional Scrum Developer .NET and Java. Professional Scrum Developer certification is at present available only to those who attend Professional Scrum Developer courses. The price for access to the assessment exam is included in the price for the course; a score of 90% is required for certification. After the course has been offered for one to two years, the Scrum Developer Guide will be formally incorporated into the Scrum Body of Knowledge and certification will be made available to those who pass an assessment but have not taken a course.

Professional Scrum Product Owner I and II. Professional Scrum Product Owner certifications are available to those who have attended a Professional Scrum Product Owner course. The Professional Scrum Product Owner I (fundamental) Assessment is included in the course price, and the Professional Scrum Product Owner II (intermediate) Assessment fee is $500; 85% or higher is the required score for certification under both assessments. The Professional Scrum Product Owner Assessments will be available to the public and anyone, including those who have not taken a course, once the Professional Scrum Product Owner Guide has been formalized.
